Marimekko

Marimekko was founded in Helsinki in 1951 on the idea of bringing colour into everyday life, and prints like Unikko from 1964 have since become design classics far beyond Finland. Its garments are recognised by large-scale prints and simple, liberating silhouettes. The prints have lasted for decades – so do the garments, as if made for second hand.
